Business environment
Taxation, regulation, access to finance: making business easier and strengthening competitiveness.
Improving the business environment is the first priority of CNES's 2026-2027 roadmap.
What employers expect
- Administrative simplification: shorter, simpler procedures;
- Legal certainty for investment and a stable regulatory framework;
- More competitive taxation: predictable, clear and supportive of investment, broadening the base where the informal sector still weighs heavily;
- Permanent public-private dialogue on economic, tax and customs reforms.
"The private sector asks for neither privileges nor special treatment. It simply asks to be recognised as a central player in national economic development.", Abdel Kader NDIAYE, President of CNES.
