Senegal Vision 2050

Putting Senegalese companies at the heart of catalytic projects and economic sovereignty.

Remise du livre blanc sur la politique et stratégie industrielle pour l’industrie et le commerce “horizon Senegal 2050”

Launched on 14 October 2024 at the CICAD in Diamniadio by the President of the Republic, "Senegal 2050: National Transformation Agenda" covers 2025-2050 and aims for a sovereign, fair and prosperous Senegal. Its first five-year strategy (SND 2025-2029) is estimated to cost about CFA 18,500 billion.

Four strategic pillars

  1. A competitive economy: industrialisation, local processing of raw materials and job creation;
  2. Human capital and social equity: education, vocational training and health;
  3. Sustainable regional development, around eight regional hubs (seven outside the capital);
  4. Good governance and African engagement: rule of law, transparency and continental integration.
