Through its industry federation (FNIS) and in partnership with 2Stv, CNES welcomes the launch of SUNU INDUSTRIE, a weekly programme dedicated to Senegalese industry and to the promotion of “Made in Senegal”.
Through the National Federation of Industries of Senegal (FNIS), and in partnership with 2Stv, the National Confederation of Employers of Senegal (CNES) welcomes the launch of SUNU INDUSTRIE, a programme dedicated to showcasing Senegalese industry and promoting “Made in Senegal”.
This ambitious initiative aims to raise awareness of the realities, performance, challenges and prospects of the various branches of national industry among the public, the authorities, investors and technical and financial partners.
Broadcast every week on 2Stv and designed as a regular forum for dialogue and economic promotion, SUNU INDUSTRIE will highlight the strategic sectors of Senegalese industry: agri-food, extractive industries, textiles, building materials, chemicals, assembly and manufacturing, among others.
Each programme will in particular:
- present the opportunities and potential of local industries;
- analyse the constraints on industrial competitiveness;
- showcase innovative companies and local initiatives;
- encourage dialogue between industrialists, public authorities, experts and investors;
- and promote the policies and strategies needed to accelerate Senegal's industrialisation.
Through field reports, sector analyses, company testimonials, interviews with experts and themed round tables, the programme aims to be a true showcase for Senegalese industrial know-how.
SUNU INDUSTRIE thus aims to become a benchmark for the promotion of national industry, the strengthening of economic sovereignty and the enhancement of Senegal's productive capacity.
Through this initiative, CNES reaffirms its constant commitment to the development of the national private sector and to the emergence of a strong, competitive, job-creating industry.
