As part of efforts to strengthen ties between private-sector players and financing support institutions, the new President of the National Confederation of Employers of Senegal, Abdel Kader Ndiaye, paid a courtesy visit on Wednesday to FONGIP, where he was received by its Director General, Ndèye Fatou Mbodj Diattara.
The meeting is part of a rapprochement between the two institutions, with a view to signing a partnership agreement to strengthen support for Senegalese companies, particularly SMEs and small industries.
The discussions focused on prospects for collaboration on access to finance, the promotion of national entrepreneurship and support for initiatives that create value and jobs. Both parties also expressed their shared wish to build strong synergies for the development of the Senegalese private sector.
Recently elected at the head of CNES, Abdel Kader Ndiaye intends to make his term one of stronger public-private dialogue and economic sovereignty. This first contact with FONGIP is a strong signal in favour of a strategic partnership between the two institutions.
